I have to admit that I am pretty lucky to live in the area that I do. I am about 10 minutes from the beach, a couple hours away from Disney, and have major league baseball team’s spring training in surrounding cities and here in town. I am not bragging though. 馃檪
To start off our spring break, my hubby and I took the kiddos to a spring training game for the聽Pittsburgh聽Pirates and the Minnesota Twins at McKechnie Field in Bradenton, Florida. The game was on Saturday at 1:00pm and it turned out to be such a beautiful day. 聽
Plus, thanks to the Pirates, they had FREE face painting for the kids which helped keep them entertained. 聽So needless to say I took each one of them down and got their face/ arm painted. The Artist, Michelle Wood, did a great job! 聽She was extremely patient with the kids and took her time.
We indulged in the baseball tradition which meant, snow cones, lemonade, and peanuts and of course getting up and singing “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” in the 7th Inning Stretch.
This was a great family聽experience, and if you have a chance to catch one of these games, I highly recommend it.
