Stuffing Isn’t Just for the Holidays! Check out Mrs. Cubbison’s Review and Giveaway!

disclosure-for-site

October 13, 2011 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 22 Comments

Thanks to Mrs. Cubbison’s, I was sent a Create with Mrs. Cubbison’s Prize Pack to review here on At Home Moma.

I was sent a package that included

  • Mrs Cubbison’s Multi-Grain Stuffing with Cranberries
  • Morehouse Mustard
  • Chef Paul Prudhomme’s Magic Seasoning Blend
  • Mrs. Cubbison’s Croutons
  • Sunsweet Dried Fruit
  • Mrs. Cubbison’s Best Stuffing Cookbook
  • A $10 gift certificate

Mrs. Cubbison’s Kitchen was founded over 60 years ago by Sophie Cubbison, and the recipes that she developed and her concept of cooking are still being used today.

Mrs. Cubbison’s currently makes stuffing, croutons, meatloaf mix, and crispy onion topping, but will debut other products in the future. Source of information Mrs. Cubbison’s.

To locate Mrs. Cubbison’s product at  your local grocery store visit Mrs. Cubbison’s Store Locator

I decided to use the Mrs Cubbison’s Multi-Grain Stuffing with Cranberries, Mrs. Cubbison’s Croutons and the Sunsweet Dried Fruit to create a meal. I also used my $10 to pick up some additional ingredients.

I got my inspiration from a recipe in the Mrs. Cubbison’s Best Stuffing Cookbook for Apple and Bacon Stuffed Crown Roast of Pork on pg. 44.  Although I did not make this recipe, it gave me the idea to use the Multi-Grain Stuffing with Cranberries with an already seasoned Pork Tenderloin.

Stuffed Pork Tenderloin with Multi-Grain Stuffing with Cranberries.

I simply cut the Pork Tenderloin down the middle and stuffed it with the Multi-Grain Stuffing with Cranberries. I followed the safe handling directions on the Pork Tenderloin to make sure everything was cooked thoroughly.  It turned out great!

My Cherry and Mandarin Oranges Salad.

I also decided to steam green beans and create a salad to pair with the Pork Tenderloin.

I took the Mrs. Cubbison’s Croutons, the Sunsweet Dried Fruit, Mandarin Oranges, 6 Italian Shredded Cheese, Balsamic Vinegar, Olive Oil, and added them to chopped Romaine Lettuce.  I also added a tablespoon of the juice from the mandarin oranges to the salad and mixed it all together.  This was delicious and looked pretty because it was a colorful salad!

Here is the finished product.

This meal was easy to assemble, but made me look like an expert in the kitchen. My family really liked it, and when I mentioned to my son that I was working on this review, he said “Oh yeah, that was yummy!”.

Giveaway Is Over!
