It just so happens that I have been seeing various commercials on the Disney Channel featuring the theme song and the characters like Miss Piggy, Kermit the Frog, Animal, Fozzie the Bear, Gonzo the Great, and more. My son has been going around the house singing the theme song, and it got me thinking about how The Muppets were apart of my youth.
I am a child of the 70’s and I used to love watching The Muppets. We actually had a tradition at my Nanny and Grandaddy’s to watch the show and listen to The Muppets Christmas Album with John Denver around the holidays.
And of course, who could forget all of the popular Movies that came out such as The Muppets Take Manhattan and Muppets from Space.
So I wondered if any of you Momas and Dads out there were feeling reminiscent as well and thought I would ask who your favorite Muppet Character was? And, if you are planning on taking you kids to see the new movie?
By far I have to say that my favorite character is the odd ball Lew Zealand holding his Sardine, I used to laugh and laugh at him when I was little. And, I do plan on taking my kids to see the movie.
