Question of the Day!

My husband and I will be closing on a new home at the first of next month, and although our house payment is going to close to the same, our taxes and insurance are going to be going up.  We are obviously looking for ways to cut costs since our income will be staying the same.

One of the areas that we have been really bad about spending in, is Eating Out.  We had been eating out maybe twice a week or more and spending about $250 -$300 average a month.  Wow right? Since we put a contract on this new house I have really been trying to be good about preparing meals and already cut the bill in half this past month.

With all that being said, how often do you eat out during a week/ month?  If so, do you know how much money you are spending?

I would love to hear your answers and feel free to post them as a comment on this post.

We used to eat out alot but then took Financial Peace. We now eat out once a week and always with a coupon or special. Sometimes a 2nd time a week but rarely. Cut our monthly food bill from $700 to $500 for 4 people!

That's easy, I spend $0. I cook all meals, and freeze alot. It's saving us a ton of $.
