I was so excited when we got this front door!
The next couple of weeks are going to be a little hectic for my family and me because we finally sold our house, and managed to find a new home as well! This is has been a long and stressful journey, but we are about 3 weeks out to our closing date, and finally the wait will be over.
The Kiddos as Newborns!
I won’t deny that I will miss the house we are in, this is where we brought our babies home from the hospital, the kids have only known this as their home, and I have spent endless hours on landscaping. But, we have outgrown this little house, and it is time to move on.
Some of my landscaping experiments.
I am really looking forward to starting this new chapter in our lives and can’t wait to do some decorating since we will be upgrading to an additional 800 square feet. Between painting, landscaping, and maintaining a pool, we will have our hands full, but I am looking forward to the challenge. So needless to say, I will be a little distracted over the next couple of weeks getting prepared for the move, so forgive me if I am not posting as often. However, this gives me some new motivation and inspiration, because I will be looking for good deals on home decorating items, ways to create interesting at home meals (I need to save more money, so minimal eating out for us going forward), and I will be looking for more fun and cheap activities to keep my family entertained.
The kids are excited about their new rooms and the pool!
Moving to a new home has me really excited about the holidays this year and I can’t wait to get decorating for Halloween. I bought a Halloween Mystery Box from Graveyard Mall, and the anticipation is killing me! Plus, we have already made plans to have an official Thanksgiving dinner at our house for my family and hubby’s, and I am really looking forward to having all of us together at the new place.
Wish me luck on this journey, and if you have any tips on moving or even pool maintenance, I would love to hear about it! Feel free to leave a comment on this post.
