Peeled Snacks, Organic Gently-Dried Fruit

I was asked to review an organic gently-dried fruit product called Peeled Snacks here on At Home Moma.

Peeled Snacks are organic and all-natural gently-dried fruit in single and multi-serving packages. They are made with fruit that you recognize that provide a natural source of vitamins, minerals and fiber – with NO sugar added. They come in many varieties including: much-ado-about-Mango, Cherry-go-round, Apple-2-the-core, Pine-4-pineapple, Banan-a-peel, Apricot-a-lot, Raisin expectations, paradise found, GoFigure, and farmer’s market trio. I was sent 4 flavors of Peeled Snacks to try. This included the Farmers Market Trio, Paradise Found, Much-Ado-About-Mango, and Apple-2-The-Core. My kids and I enjoyed all the different flavors. The kiddos really liked the Farmer’s Market Trio because it contained raisins, cherries, and apples. I personally am not a fan of fresh Mango, but I really liked the dried Much-Ado-About-Mango.

What I like about Peel Snacks is that they are a good source of fiber, and do not have added sugar or preservatives. Plus, I can actually see the original fruit that they are dried from.  My kids are funny about how food appears and sometimes they will not eat something if it looks weird or funny. I could show my kids that it was an apple or piece of banana they were eating, and they didn’t put up a fight about trying it.
