I was sent a Classic 14.5 inch Caillou Doll and Caillou Learning Train to review here on At Home Moma. If you are not familiar with Caillou, it is a animated children’s show from Cookie Jar Entertainment, that can be seen on PBS stations, and Sprout. For Caillou on TV, CLICK HERE.
Both my kids enjoy this series, and I like it because it is a show that has educational content and teaches the my kids valuable lessons. Actually my daughter is watching the show as I am writing this review because I can pull it up anytime on demand from the Sprout Channel.
In regards to the Caillou Learning Train, at first she wasn’t to sure about it, but once her brother saw it, I had to get out his train set, so there would not be any arguing over the toy. Again, this is a toy that helps with motor skills. It can be pulled apart, and it also has a knob on the side that you turn that makes the train move. This toy is recommended for children ages 12-24 months and can be found at 272 participating Toys R Us stores (visit store locator at www.caillou.com/storelocator) and the following e-commerce sites: toysrus.com, fao.com, kohls.com, and tystoybox.com.
