I go through paper towels like crazy in my house due to cleaning, spills, and having an older dog. Lately I have been using more than I would like to, so I decided it was time to make cleaning cloths to reduce consumption and to have on hand for dusting, cleaning up the kitchen, and wiping off mirrors.
My inspiration for this actually came from when I bought my hubby car cleaning supplies for Father’s Day. One of the items we purchased were cloths made from T-Shirt material.
So when it was time to make my own cloths, I grabbed 2 old t-shirts and cut them each up into 5 pieces.
I have used these T Shirt Cloths to wipe off the counters in my kitchen, remove dust from the wood tables in my living room and the screen of my TV, and make my mirrors clear in the bathroom. Of course they didn’t do it alone and I added Pledge® Multi Surface cleaner and Pledge® Lemon Clean to help get them clean.
Both Pledge® Multi Surface cleaner and Pledge® Lemon Clean make housework simpler through their ability to be used on multiple surfaces.
Pledge® Multi Surface is available in 2 formulas including: Pledge® Multi Surface Cleaner and Pledge® Multi Surface Antibacterial Everyday Cleaner. I used the Pledge® Multi Surface Antibacterial Everyday Cleaner and it can be used on surfaces such as wood, stainless steel, granite, porcelain, electronics, laminate, and more.
Plus, since it is a 2 in 1 cleaner it is also a disinfectant, killing up to 99.9% of germs including the H1N1 (influenza A) virus.*
As for Pledge® Lemon Clean, this furniture spray has no wax build up and can be used not only on wood, but also on plastic and leather. It has an awesome scent and also features Allergen Trappers® to remove dust and up to 90 percent of the allergens found in dust.
I used this on my living room tables and my son’s piano and the dust was easily removed. Please refer to the labels or visit Pledge®’s website to see which surfaces both these products are most effective on.
Want to try Pledge® Multi Surface cleaner and Pledge® Lemon Clean for yourself?
Not only am I saving money by reusing these clothes, but I also used a coupon and saved in store on Pledge® at Dollar General!
