A Review of Purex Complete with Zout. Plus, FREE Sample!

April 17, 2011 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 3 Comments

As a Purex Insider, I was sent a FREE Bottle of Purex Complete with Zout to review here on At Home Moma.

Purex Complete with Zout combines the proven performance of Purex detergent with the triple-enzyme stain-fighting power of Zout pre-treater. This product can be use as both a pre-treater and a detergent.

Zout is the original stain remover that was developed in the early 1960s as a professional cleaning solution for doctors’ and nurses’ uniforms. Today Zout is one of the leading stain removers in the category.

This formula has been specifically formulated to work equally well in both High Efficiency washing machines as well as Standard Top-Load washing machines. You can use Purex Complete with Zout on all clothing that is marked as machine-washable. As always, be sure to follow the directions on the clothing label.

Purex Complete with Zout comes in 2 formulas, Fresh Morning Burst and Free & Clear, and both have been tested and found to be hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin. The Free & Clear formula contains no dyes or fragrances. Source, Purex

I was sent the Fresh Morning Burst formula to try, and I used this as a pre-treater and a detergent on my clothes. It smells great, and it cleaned the clothes! I tested it out on an existing set-in stain that had already been sent through the wash previously, and I tested it on a new stain from chicken grease. I ran them both through the wash, and it actually got both stains out.
