BlogHer’ll was a blast, and one of the highlights was meeting “A Piece of Dust” from the Swiffer Commercials in the Future Friendly Home that was created by Procter and Gamble.
This home was really neat because it was designed with the environment in mind. It used materials such as recycled aluminum and Medium Density Fiberwood, which is made from recycled sawdust.
Procter and Gamble had an environmentally friendly initiative at BlogHer’11 so as we explored the rooms, we filled out a questionnaire (with fill in the blanks) on ways to have a more Eco Friendly home. Once we completed our form, it was redeemable for a P&G Sample Pack.
In addition, Procter and Gamble set up a recycle event for any products or items we received at the event that we did not want to keep. That way they could be passed onto individuals that could use the items and not end up in the trash.
