Double Peanut Butter Cookies and Boiron Acidil Meltaway Tablets!

disclosure-for-site

January 8, 2021 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 40 Comments

The following is a sponsored post on behalf of Boiron Acidil Meltaway Tablets and Moms Meet. Opinions expressed are that of my own and the Peanut Butter Cookies are YUMMY!

My family made it through the holiday season, but there were some instances that indigestion and upset stomach almost got in the way of the festivities.

I think it is an understatement that in addition to the usual stress that comes with winter celebrations, that there was an additional layer put on us all with navigating the pandemic. Keep reading for an easy Double Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe.

Not only did this change how we would celebrate with family, but it made final exams for my son a bit more nerve racking. Between worry and all of the rich foods over the Holidays, both the adults and teen in our home felt the effects on our digestive systems.

Boiron Acidil Meltaway Tablets

Thankfully I was sent a kit with homeopathic Boiron® Acidil® Meltaway Tablets as well as Gasalia® Meltaway Tablets, and Diaralia® Meltaway Tablets to help relieve the discomfort.

So what is Boiron Acidil Meltaway Tablets?

Boiron Acidil‘s goal is to help you enjoy Comfort Food Without the Discomfort and is made with sustainably sourced, plant-based active ingredients. This product relieves occasional heartburn, acid indigestion, upset stomach, as well as bloating.*

Boiron Acidil Meltaway Tablets

As the #1 best-selling heartburn homeopathic medicine in natural food stores, it is unflavored and dissolves in the mouth without need of water or food. It may also be taken before or after meals, whenever symptoms arise.

Each box of Acidil Meltaway Tablets contains three sleeves of 20 tablets, is appropriate for use by adults and children who are 12 and older with no known drug interactions.

Acidil typically retails for $9.99 to $11.99 and available to purchase at RiteAid, Walgreens, Sprouts Farmers Market, Whole Foods Market, Vitamin Shoppe, and online. Visit boironusa.com for the full list of locations.

Boiron Acidil Meltaway Tablets

My family’s experience

Just to describe an instance where I used the Acidil Meltaway Tablets was when I woke up in the middle of the night with Acid Indigestion. Between cookies and eating out more often, it was bound to happen. I took 2 of the meltaway tablets and after 15 minutes or so, it settled down and I went back to bed. Now because I had success with the Acid product, I also gave my sister in law a sleeve to try for her own acid reflux issues.

There was also a day where my stomach was upset and I used the Diaralia to help ease the symptoms. I didn’t want something like that to keep me from the celebrations and after about an hour I was back to myself. In addition, I utilized the Gasalia for my son before he went to school during exam week and it helped on 2 occasions to settle his stomach.

What are some trigger foods that cause you or a loved one acid indigestion?

Now Peanut Butter treats happen to be my husbands comfort food, but the butter in sweets can sometimes aggravate my husbands Acid Reflux.

I happen to try a new recipe hack over the holidays that reduced the butter and it didn’t seem to bother him. If you experience the same thing or are looking for a new recipe, check out my Peanut Butter Cookie Hack below!

Double Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe!

Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies.

Ingredients:

Sugar Cookie Mix 17.5 Ounce Package

1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter Chips

1/2 Cup of Creamy Peanut Butter

1/4 Cup of Softened Butter

1 Egg

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Then, combine all of the ingredients with a mixer. TIP: You want to make sure that the butter is very softened and you may need to take a spoon to pull up any of the dry ingredients at the bottom.

Next, pack the dough together. Then, place a piece of parchment paper on a cookie sheet.

Next take a small cookie scoop or a tablespoon measuring spoon and drop the cookies on the parchment paper. Space them 2 inches apart. Then, take a fork and hold the cookie in place as you press them down.

Next, bake them in the oven for 9 minutes. Once done, allow to cool on a cookie rack. Enjoy! These are a new family favorite.

Just in case you do get indigestion after these treats be sure to have Boiron Acidil Meltaway Tablets on hand.

Tomato sauce and beef trigger my husband's indigestion. I have been having some bloating and discomfort lately, and I can't seem to figure out what is causing it. We would both love to try these products.
