The following post is sponsored by A&W. Opinions expressed about Strawberry Root Beer Float and Family Fun Nights are that of my own.
Are you looking for a fun way to entertain the kiddos over the summer that doesn’t involve an electronic device?

Well I must admit that unplugging can be a struggle, but you can at least keep them distracted for a few moments with a simple Strawberry Root Beer Float. Plus to make it even easier, A & W Root Beer is giving away a Free 2 Liter (via coupon) to families taking the Family Fun Pledge. Available for a limited time.
So why is A&W Root Beer encouraging Family Fun Nights?

As part of celebrating 100 years of creating special memories, they are calling on their fans to create new ones.
They are inviting families to take a pledge to go technology-free for 1 hour on Friday nights and make family fun to remember for years to come. (My unplugging idea has been reading to one another for an hour.)

Now if you would also like to recreate this Strawberry Root Beer Float, you will need to pick up the following at the store:
1 – 2 liter of A&W Root Beer (Don’t forget to use the coupon)
1 package of Strawberry Lowfat Frozen Yogurt
Whipped Cream
1 Package of Fresh Strawberries

Directions:
To create this Strawberry Root Beer Float you will need to place 2 large scoops of Strawberry Frozen Yogurt into a Glass.

Then, pour the root beer over the top to over the frozen yogurt.
Tip: Make sure your A&W Root Beer has been in the fridge long enough so it is cold.

Once the bubbles settle, add more root beer if needed and add the whipped cream on top. To finish, garnish with a fresh strawberry and serve immediately.
