A special thank you goes out to the UglyDolls for sending my family an UglyDolls Blu-Ray as well as a fun package filled with movie themed items and toys. Opinions expressed are that of my own.
When I was asked if I would be interested in receiving a Blu-ray and a special package from the folks at UglyDolls, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect. I actually was not that familiar with the story, but it looked really adorable.
My children had not expressed any interest in these dolls in the past, but my daughter had seen advertisements for the brand on TV. I was intrigued.
Well I am happy that I said YES, because this movie was so good and uplifting. Plus, it’s main character Moxy conveys such a positive message about self confidence and embracing everyone’s differences.
The UglyDolls soundtrack is also amazing and my daughter is absolutely in love with the feel if the Terry Cloth Plush Characters.
Not to mention, my boys have been in enjoying the UglyDolls Pez.
We are also looking forward to reading the UglyDolls Book and playing the UglyDolls Adventures in Uglyville Game.
Since we loved the film so much, I decided to also take our fun to the next level by making UglyDolls Cookies!
If you want to recreate these cookies, all you need is a little imagination as well as food coloring, vanilla cake icing, your favorite sugar cookie recipe, candy eyeballs, and black gel icing.
As for our designs, I used a ginger bread man, bear, and rabbit cookie cutters and simply made alterations to make them UglyDoll Shapes. I think they turned out great!
