While out in LA as part of the #JungleBookEvent, I got an opportunity to visit Paramount Pictures and hang out at the set of Disney XD WALK THE PRANK.
This was a really awesome adventure and a first for me, since I had never been to this lot or been on set to hear and see what goes on behind the scenes of a television show.
Now obviously I would need to get a few sight seeing photos, in which I included the entrance as well as the water tower with the marquee featuring the current shows in production.
Some of the series produced at this lot include Blacklist, VEEP, and NCIS:Los Angeles.
Then it was onto the actually stage to check out the props and details that go into the creation of WALK THE PRANK. This famous location has housed shows like That Girl, The Odd Couple, and Happy Days as well as the film Ghost.
As we went into the building, we walked through the reproduced school environment and also saw props set up for the days taping, this included lunch trays with real food.
We then went into a room to listen to voice over segments and watch scenes being recorded.
As we did this, Tobie Windham (Uncle Will) came in to speak with us. Stay tuned, next week I will be sharing the details of our interview.
To give you a background on WALK THE PRANK, it is an innovative new format that blends scripted comedy with real hidden-camera pranks.
Viewers follow a team of practical jokesters who create hilarious over-the-top pranks for an online hidden camera show. It is meant to inspire laughs through everyday situations and comical tween conversations.

Created by Adam Small and Trevor Moore, it is intended for children 7 and up and currently airs on Disney XD Wednesday Nights at 8:30 p.m. EST.
Disney XD WALK THE PRANK stars Cody Veith as Chance, Bryce Gheisar as Herman, Jillian Shea Spaeder as Bailey, Brandon Severs as Dusty, and Tobie Windham as Uncle Will along with all the many targets that bring us a laugh.

After our group finished listening to the recording sessions, we then walked over to check out the Joke Shop featured in the show.
This was such a fun environment, and when I told my kids where I was and who I met, I was officially elevated to COOL MOM.

I have to say that one of the best moments in the Joke Shop was seeing a very large Dog Prop. It is from one of my favorite pranks of the show. FYI, seeing the expressions on the target’s faces from this particular scene is priceless.
