Recently I shared my excitement for Disney’s The Jungle Book, when I created an Animal Cracker Parfait Recipe for my kiddos.
Well we took it even further this weekend and made a craft inspired by the film. If you are wanting to put together a fun animal inspired activity, then you will want to check out the “My Jungle Book Craft” as well as print The Jungle Book Activity Sheets courtesy of Walt Disney Studios!
FYI, this My Jungle Book Craft is awesome because I got the supplies including animal foam stickers, twine, and foam sheets from the Dollar Tree.
This cost me in total $3, since I already had the Scissors, Hole Punch, and Crayons on hand.
To get started with the craft, I first needed 3 pieces of 8X10 Construction paper, I used yellow, blue, and green.
Next, I folded those in half and punched 2 holes in the side. I did this for each of my children.
Then, I cut a small pieces of twine to bind the books together. I just ran it through the holes, made a knot and then a bow.
Finally it was time to decorate. I gave the kiddos stickers and crayons and they got creative.
Since I have varying ages, my oldest wrote out a story in cursive and skipped using stickers all together.
My middle child illustrated and added stickers into the scene, and my preschooler simply put the stickers all over the first and second page.
However this was a craft that interested all 3, so I consider that a pretty big WIN.
Plus the detail that went into making these, has also made them a keepsake.

Who is your favorite character in Disney’s The Jungle Book? Have your children seen the original animated film?
About The Jungle Book:
Directed by Jon Favreau (“Iron Man”), based on Rudyard Kipling’s timeless stories and inspired by Disney’s classic animated film “The Jungle Book”, this all-new live-action epic adventure about Mowgli (newcomer Neel Sethi), a man-cub who’s been raised by a family of wolves.
But Mowgli finds he is no longer welcome in the jungle when fearsome tiger Shere Khan (voice of Idris Elba), who bears the scars of Man, promises to eliminate what he sees as a threat. Urged to abandon the only home he’s ever known, Mowgli embarks on a captivating journey of self-discovery, guided by panther-turned-stern mentor Bagheera (voice of Ben Kingsley), and the free-spirited bear Baloo (voice of Bill Murray).

I hope your family enjoys this upcoming Disney Film, Craft, and The Jungle Book Activity Sheets!
