Kid Friendly Seven Layer Dip!

disclosure-for-site

I have 2 huge football fans in my house, so needless to say we will be watching the upcoming BIG GAME. Our favorite team won’t be one of the final 2, but this does not diminish my husband’s and oldest son’s enthusiasm for the sport.

A special thank you goes out to SheSpeaks and P&G for sponsoring this post today and inspiring my Kid Friendly Seven Layer Dip.

Individual 7 Layer Dip for Chips

Because of their LOVE of the game, for the past few years we have had family come over to watch along with us. This season’s ending won’t be any different, so we will be hosting and preparing for our traditions for gameday.

First step is to get the house cleaned which includes dusting, vacuuming, and tidying up bathrooms. Then it is onto the food prep. Not only will I be turning on my crock pot for meatballs, but I will also have tortilla chips and salsa, sub sandwiches, and this year I am going to make my Layered Dip more convenient for cleanup and my kiddos.

P&G beauty and grooming products

Once finished with all my preparations, then I will need to get ready for guests. Thanks to P&G and Walmart, I have beauty products to help me look and feel at my best.

COVERGIRL LashBlast Mascara which is available in three collections including Volume, Clump Crusher, and Fusion. (Each offered in regular or waterproof formulas). The Volume includes COVERGIRL’s biggest brush ever and my lashes look great, as you can tell I am already a FAN of the brand!

COVERGIRL products with LashBlast Mascara

Crest Prohealth Advanced Toothpaste that leads to Healthier Gums and Stronger Teeth from day 1*  and has whitening as well as freshens breath. It has a great taste and leaves my breath fresh!

Oral B Vitality created with a round brush to remove more plaque than a regular manual toothbrush. Plus it’s MicroPulse bristles clean between teeth, it keeps you on track with a Two-minute timer, and is convenient with a rechargeable battery. My teeth felt fabulous afterward!

Crest Prohealth and Oral B Vitality

Gillette Fusion ProGlide with flexBall Technology for maximum contact, a precision trimmer, and enhanced Lubrastrip for smooth glide. I don’t know about you, but I am constantly snagging hubby’s disposable razors and this provided a great shave!

Looking to create an easy seven layer dip?  If so, the details are below!

Covergirl Mascara, Oral B Toothbrush, Crest Toothpaste, Gillette Razor

Kid Friendly Seven Layer Dip

What you will need:

1 Can of Refried Beans

1 Package of Shredded Mild Cheddar

1 Can of Diced Tomatoes

2 Ripe Hass Avocados

1 Lime

1 Bottle of Mild Salsa

1 – 16 oz Container of Sour Cream

1 – Can of Sliced Olives

Shatter-Resistant 9 oz plastic Cups with large opening

Individual 7 Layer Dip

Directions:

First you will need to set out the plastic see-through cups. Then drain the tomatoes and olives, and mash up the avocados. To maintain freshness add 2 Teaspoons of Lime to the Avocados and stir.

Then start adding your layers in 2 Tablespoon increments in the following order, starting at the bottom, and spreading each out over the previous layer.

1st Refried Beans

2nd Tomatoes

3rd Shredded Cheddar

4th Avocado

5th Sour Cream

6th Salsa

Finally add the 7th layer with Olives and then refrigerate until ready to serve. I also added Football themed toothpicks I found at a party store to make it more festive.

7 Layer Dip for Tortilla Chips

This makes around 8 to 10 servings and is ready to go for both adults and kids. They can also be added to plates with chips without worry of a trifle bowl being knocked over or busted. Plus, you can either clean and reuse, repurpose, or recycle the containers at the end of the evening.

What are some of your family’s Game Day Traditions? Any special food served?

To learn more about these products from P&G be sure to head on over to your local Walmart, or visit traditionsforgameday.com.

Hope you have an awesome and relaxing BIG GAME!

I used to make that 7 layer dip, but never in little cups like that. I always made it in a huge dish. I like your way better.

Never thought about making it in smaller containers! I always disliked the left overs, its all a mess and no one would eat it. THIS will solve the problem! Thanks !

That dip looks great. I can see why kids would love it. I remember when the Packers went to (and won) a Super Bowl in the late 90s. I bought several large bags of M&Ms and selected all of the green and yellow ones out for the party. Crazy!

This would be awesome. I have a few people in my hubby's family that are into double dipping (yuck) so individual containers for dip is a great idea. lol
