A special thank you goes out to Kohl’s for providing my family a gift card to shop the Star Wars Toy Collection at Kohl’s . Opinions expressed are that of my own.
It is no secret that my family members are fans of Star Wars, so of course we are excited about the new film Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming out this December.
Needless to say my son has been eyeing the newest toys from the series, and has been brainstorming what he would like to add to his Christmas List.
Once he finishes writing down what he wants, I don’t have to look any further than the Star Wars Toy Collection at Kohl’s to find this year’s hottest items.
Since we do have a month or so before the big holiday, my 9 year old and I took a trip up to our local store to check out what was on display, pick up a few toys, and also purchase shirts to wear to see the movie.
I have to admit that it was tough to narrow down what my son wanted from the Star Wars Toy Collection at Kohl’s, but he was immediately drawn to the Kilo Ren Mask and Kilo Ren Lightsaber.
We also found a really cool t-shirt in the older boys section to match his cool armor.
As for action figures, we found a First Order Snowspeeder with Action Figures, a 3.75 Kylo Ren Action Figure, and a Boba Fett.
We also purchased a good guy 3.75 action figure Poe Dameron to fight the “Dark Side”.
Now before my son and I had gone to the store, we also looked on line. Some items may not be available in-store, so he had added the Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens Kylo Ren & Stormtrooper Walkie Talkie Set to his wish list. This will be a surprise for Christmas.
He also requested the Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens Millennium Falcon Quadcopter by Air Hogs. Since this is a pretty special item, I told him to ask Santa for this one.
A few unique action figures we came across, were these awesome Star Wars Hero Mashers. You can take them apart and add other character’s body parts on.
We got a Storm Trooper, Darth Vader, and Boba Fett, and it is fun watching the figures become assembled, pulled apart, and then reattached. (Check out his BB-8 Shirt we also found in store!).
We happen to already own plenty of Star Wars action figures from previous films, so I will also be surprising my son with a Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens 3.75-in. Desert Mission Finn (Jakku) Figure by Hasbro and a Snow Mission Rey (Starkiller Base) Figure by Hasbro to add to his collection.
These will both make excellent stocking stuffers and gifts under our tree.
Are you or a family member a fan of Star Wars? Planning on adding any Star Wars Themed items as gifts this year?
