I got to take a trip down memory lane this week when I received a copy of the My Little Pony Tales: The Complete Classic TV Series DVD to review here on the site. Although these episodes came out in 1992, (a while after I had stopped playing with my set of ponies) they still made me nostalgic of my childhood and the toys I had from the 1980’s.
Thanks to a collaboration between Shout! Kids and Hasbro Studios, this DVD will be coming out April 28, 2015. Staring all 7 of the Pony Friends Starlight, Sweetheart, Melody, Bright Eyes, Patch, Clover and Bon Bon, this 2 disk set includes all 13 episodes with a total of 26 adventures with bonus feature Sing-Alongs.

My kids have been watching and really enjoying the shows. My daughter shared that she liked how the characters work it out when they have a problem, and she also likes how the ponies are friends and do people activities. As for my almost 3-year-old, he just said, “They are MAGICAL!”.
