We are definitely a family that appreciate sports, and my oldest son has recently taken a shine to basketball. Because of this interest, we have been catching a few of the games on TV and of course we are all about supporting our favorite Florida College Team.

Bacon in French Fry Dip

During a recent televised game we brought out the school colors, decorative basketballs, and a fun reptile decoration to help cheer on the players. My kids were loving it!

Now this in home tailgating would not have been complete without game time grub, so earlier in the week I took a trip up to Walmart to do a little shopping. I was in search of a few ingredients for my French Fry Dip with Bacon recipe, and would obviously need to pick up a bag of fries as well.

Alexia French Fries, Potatoes, and Onion Rings at Walmart

I headed over to the freezer section to take look at the selection and I found a variety of Alexia frozen potato products. There were Sweet Potato Fries and Smart Classics Crinkle Cut Fries.

They even had nonpotato products like Crispy Onion Rings.

Since my kids and I had already been craving Onions Rings, I added a bag to my cart and also picked up the Alexia Smart Classics Crinkle Cut Fries to pair with my recipe.

On Saturday while the kids were watching the game, I preheated the oven and started to prepare the dip.

Alexia French Fries and Party Dip For Game

When it is time for the game, simply place the bowl on a plate surrounded by fries.

The Alexia fries are extremely convenient since they are ready in 22 minutes and can cook while I am making my dip. Both are a wonderful compliment to one another, and are now a favorite of my kids.

I absolutely love a good dip for my Alexia fries and rings! Love the idea of adding bacon. On a side note... I was probably watching that same game but was cheering on a team from a little farther north! lol #client

I don't generally make a dip for fries. But I do make a ranch that's very similar to this, it's tasty!

We usually don't dip our fries into anything but ketchup or the occasional ice cream sundae (yes we do!). This sounds like a great dip for chips, bread, cheese, and veggies too!
