Salmon and Capers Pizza Recipe!

disclosure-for-site

January 16, 2015 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 115 Comments

When Gorton’s Seafood offered to send me a package meant to support a more realistic approach to New Years Resolutions as well as sample their Grilled and/or Simply Bake products, I thought to myself, “I am all for that!”. FYI, opinions expressed in this post are that of my own and my Salmon and Capers Pizza Recipe turned out great!

Salmon and Capers Pizza on Naan

So I have to admit that I did not write any resolutions for myself in 2015 as I have found it tough to stick with them as a busy mom of 3. However, I have been planning long before the New Year to take steps to be more active with my family, get out and exercise more, and also get back into better eating habits.

One of the ways I have started taking “better for me” steps in the New Year is with a Salmon and Capers Pizza Recipe.

Gorton's Salmon Roasted Garlic and Butter Simply Bake

In addition, I am looking forward to using goodies I was sent from Gorton’s.

My package included an insulated tote bag to carry healthier food options, The SparkPeople Cookbook to help make better recipe choices, The Spark Book to encourage a better active lifestyle, plus the SparkPeople 28 Day Boot Camp Workout DVD to help get me up and exercising.

Ingredients for Salmon and Capers Pizza Recipe

As a bonus to all of this, Gordon’s is also encouraging individuals to sign up for the FREE 30-Day Realistic Resolution Challenge.

I went online and signed up, and have completed 2 tasks for the challenge already. I even earned 10 points at the site.

I also used free product coupons to purchase Gorton’s Simply Bake products. I have already tried the Gorton’s Simply Bake Roasted Garlic and Butter Salmon and can’t wait to sample the Tilapia as well.

Check out how I used the Salmon in a recipe below.

Dill Mix for Salmon and Capers Pizza Recipe

Salmon and Capers Pizza Recipe – Serves 5

Ingredients:

1 Box of Gorton’s Simply Bake Roasted Garlic and Butter Salmon

4 Pieces of Naan Bread

2 Tbsp of Margarine

1/4 Tsp of Dried Dill

Capers

Gorton's Simply Bake

Directions:

Prepare the Salmon according to the packaging by placing the 2 bags in the oven at 350 degrees for 24-26 minutes.

Then combine the Margarine and Dried Dill in a bowl.

Gorton's Salmon Simply Bake

Once the Salmon is cooked, drain the sauce and shred. Keep the oven on at 350 degrees.

Next, lightly spread the margarine mix on the Naan bread. Then sprinkle the Salmon on the bread, as well as the capers.

Shredded Salmon

Finally place the pizzas back into the oven for 10 minutes. Once ready, you simply slice and serve, it is that EASY!
