Thanks to Nuby, I was sent a Squid Squirter to review with my kids here on Frugal and Fun Mom.
The Nuby Squid Squirter is a BPA Free toy that is intended for children 18 months and up, and meant for bath time or pool use. To operate the squirter, simply submerge the tentacles underwater and draw back the handle. Once the chamber fills you can push on the handle to squirt water.
My first impression of this toy is it is cute. It has vibrant colors, and does a great job of squirting.
I let my 5-year-old daughter test it out, and first thing the water came right out of the tub. Even after instructing her to aim it down, it kept making its way all over the room. She was having fun for sure!
After this initial use I realized that this toy would be better suited in an enclosed shower or for outside water play. I am not a fan of water all over my bathroom, so I would most likely only use this in a bathtub if I was the one in control of the squirter.
We will be using this toy in the shower, or outside in our pool.
