I was provided a FREE copy of Chuck & Friends: Trucks Versus Wild DVD to facilitate this post, opinions expressed are that of my own.

Chuck and Friends DVD Trucks Versus Wild

Recently my family was introduced to a cute cartoon series called The Adventures of Chuck and Friends!

When my oldest son was a toddler we had toy truck that made noise when it banged against objects.  That toy has since been passed on to a cousin, but the memory of it is still around. That truck was called Chuck, and to my surprise it is actually depicted in a series on The Hub TV Network called The Adventures of Chuck & Friends.

Thanks to Shout! Factory Kids, I got an opportunity check this cartoon out through reviewing a NEW DVD called The Adventures of Chuck & Friends: Trucks Versus Wild.

This collection follows Chuck, a little dump truck with a big imagination, and his adventures with his family and friends Digger, Handy, Rowdy, Biggs, Boomer, and Flip. The DVD has 10 episodes including The Checkup, Chuck’s Perfect Plans, Trucks Vs. Wild, Kid Stuff, As The Engine Coughs, Beach Blanket Uh-Oh, Fender Bender, Sleep-Driving Chuck, Mind Your Own Business, and The Pothole.

The series is perfect for my family because it depicts scenarios that could actually happen to my toddler and preschooler. Examples are being scared of visiting the Doctor, getting disappointed when things don’t go exactly the way you expected, or dealing with feeling under the weather. Not to mention the theme song is pretty catchy, and my older kids started singing along at the beginning of each episode.

We can all watch this DVD together as a family because the content is fun and keeps my kid’s attention.

Do your kids watch this series on TV?  Have they ever played with Chuck the Truck?

The Adventures Of Chuck And Friends: Trucks Vs. Wild also includes a brand new sing-along song and retails for $12.97.

After watching this, I now have another reason to like the Chuck and hopefully I can track him down to share with my youngest!

I don't have little ones anymore, but my kids always enjoyed happy-faced vehicles. They were crazy for Thomas and The Cars movie. This kind of reminds me of that! Very sweet!

It's great that the show address "real world" scenarios that our kids can relate to.
