disclosure-for-site

March 13, 2014 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 122 Comments

The following is a sponsored post on behalf of Arnold and Thomas Breads. I was provided Free product along with a gift card to facilitate this recipe, opinions expressed are that of my own.

Avocado Spread With Smoked Salmon

Are you looking to limit your calories, wanting to try a lighter bread, or on a Weight Watchers Plan?

If so, Arnold Sandwich Thins and Thomas Bagel Thins are definitely a product you will want to check out.

Arnold and Thomas Sandwich and Bagel Thins 6

Thanks to Arnold and Thomas, I was sent coupons to try their Sandwich Thins, and Bagel Thins breads. With these, I was able to pick up a package of Honey Wheat Arnold Sandwich Thins Rolls and Everything Thomas’ Bagel Thins at my local grocer.

Arnold Sandwich Thins Rolls are a Weight Watchers 3 Points Plus Value and available in 4 Flavors including 100% Whole Wheat, Healthy Multi-grain, Honey Wheat, and Flax & Fiber.

Arnold and Thomas Sandwich and Bagel Thins 7

Arnold Pocket Thins Flatbread is another thin bread product, that is also a Weight Watchers 3 Points Plus Value.  I was unable to locate them at my store, but they are available in 2 Flavors including 100% Whole Wheat and Healthy Multi-grain.

Arnold Pocket Thins

Arnold Sandwich Thins are endorsed by Weight Watchers. They are cholesterol-free foods and contain zero grams of Trans Fat along with no high fructose corn syrup. You may also see these breads listed under the name of Brownberry and Oroweat.

Arnold and Thomas Sandwich and Bagel Thins 1

Thomas’ Bagel Thins Bagels are 110 calories, cholesterol-free, low in fat, and contain zero grams of Trans Fat.  These Bagels are also a Weight Watchers 3 Points Plus Value and available in 4 Flavors including Plain, 100% Whole Wheat, Cinnamon Raisin, and Everything.

Arnold and Thomas Sandwich and Bagel Thins 2

I happened to be in the mood for Smoked Salmon and Avocado, so I decide to create a sandwich with both of these ingredients. Since I love an Everything Flavor bagel, I was excited to work these ingredients onto the bread.

Not only will I eat bagels for breakfast, but I will also substitute them in for lunch as well.

Arnold and Thomas Sandwich and Bagel Thins 3

To recreate the Avocado Spread all you need is:

1 Ripe Avocado

2 Tbsp of Chopped Green Onion

1 Tbsp of Cream Cheese

Optional: 1 Tsp of Lemon Juice

Arnold and Thomas Sandwich and Bagel Thins 4

Simply mash the Avocado and then combine all of the ingredients together well, and spread. This spread tastes great alone, but I highly recommend adding the Smoked Salmon, this combination tastes great on the Everything Bagel.

Tip:  If you are planning on having leftovers, I suggest adding the lemon juice so the Avocado color will maintain and keep this in an air tight container in the refrigerator.

For additional recipes, visit Bagel Thins Recipes or check out Sandwich Thins Recipes at Weight Watchers.

Arnold and Thomas Sandwich and Bagel Thins

Of course if you are in the mood for a traditional bagel or sandwich, these work well with the usual toppings such as cream cheese and lunch meat. I have been sending my son to school with a ham and cheese or turkey and cheese sandwich on the Honey Wheat Arnold Thins Rolls.

Have you tried these Thin Bread products before? If so, which is your favorite variety and flavor?
