Thanks to Influenster, I was sent a Beauty Blogger VoxBox to review here on my blog Frugal and Fun Mom. One of the items in the package that really impressed me was the NYC New York Color IndividualEyes Custom Compact.
This compact comes with a plastic chart on top that tells which items are the primer, highlighter, all over lid, crease, and illuminator. Plus, it has a diagram on the back showing the user how to apply the various shadows. I personally love a makeup kit that takes all of the guess work out of applying eye shadow and this compact does that.
As you can see below, the shadow does make a difference.
Before and After
The colors I received were called “Dark Shadows” which are the silver tones, and for me that was perfect because it lightens up my eyes. Plus, I can’t complain about the price on this item since it is only $4.99.
According to Influenster, NYC New York Color offers products with uptown style at down-to-earth prices, from $.99 – $4.99 and is available at drug store retailers nationwide.

I received this free product as part of the Beauty Blogger VoxBox 2012 program through Influenster. Opinions expressed in this post are that of my own.
