Mega Bloks Blok Squad Fire Patrol Station Review!

Thanks to Team Mom and Mega Bloks, I was sent a Mega Bloks set called the Mega Bloks -Blok Squad Fire Patrol Station to review on At Home Moma with my kids.

The Mega Bloks – Blok Squad Fire Patrol Station is a buildable play-set that contains 956 pieces. These pieces create a Fire Patrol Station, Fire Command 4X4 Truck, Fire Rescue Chopper, Fire Rescue Carrier, and Fire Ladder Truck TL. Plus, it comes with 5 Blok Squad Firefighters. The set is intended for children ages 5 and up and retails for $39.99.

My son decided to share his set with his cousin (his Dad happens to be a fire fighter) and as you know with most 5 years old, they decided to use their imagination and create their own vehicles.

I have to say that this set is a little bit involved for a 5 year old to construct. However, it is great if you want to have a bunch of pieces that the kids can use their imagination with. In my opinion it would require adult assistance depending upon the child’s maturity. As my son gets older he may have the attention span to be able to do it by himself. My husband actually got out the directions and built one of the vehicles for my son.
