The following Dinosaur Easter Basket Tutorial is sponsored by Schleich Toys Figurines and Play Sets, opinions expressed are that of my own.
As a parent with 3 children, I have come to appreciate the value of smaller toys when it comes to creating Easter Baskets. Because of their size figurines work well for both my daughter and my youngest son, plus they are easier to store afterward (which is great for cleanup).

Schleich toys are ideal for Easter Baskets because they are not only made of high quality plastic, but they also created with beautiful detail.

They also have Figurines and Play Sets that spark imagination as well as encourage learning through playtime such as farms animals, horses, wild animals, and of course Schleich Dinosaurs.
Do you also happen to have a Dinosaur super fan like I do? If so, I have a great Easter Basket idea that is simple to create with household items as well as features the awesome and realistic Velociraptor from Schleich Toys!

I even created a fun set of printable signs to add to your craft.

To get started with this Dinosaur Easter Basket you will need the following:
- Schleich Velociraptor
- Easter Basket
- Green Twine
- Brown Paper Bag or Brown Construction Paper
- Green and Brown Crinkle Filler Paper
- Blue, Green, and Yellow Plastic Easter Eggs
- Artificial pieces of fern
- Robins Eggs Malted Milk Balls
- Dinosaur Fruit Snacks or Dinosaur Gummies
- White Card Stock Paper
- 4 inch Treat Sticks
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
- Glue
Tip: Many of these craft supplies can be located at a Dollar Store!
Directions:
To get started, first print out these Dinosaur Signs on white card stock paper and cut them out.
Tip: Make sure they are the same size so they can be glued back to back on the treat sticks.

These dinosaur signs will also be added to a brown piece of paper. You can then use a hole punch and cut enough twine to tie this to the handle of the basket.
Then, mix the brown and green filler paper together and place that into the basket.

Next, pull apart the artificial fern and spread it around the back of the filler paper.
Then, add dinosaur gummies and robins eggs (They look like dino eggs) to the Easter Eggs.

Tip: Make sure your signs are dry before you add them to the basket, otherwise they may fall apart.
To finish, add the plastic eggs, signs, tie the brown paper to the handle, and finally place the Schleich Velociraptor to the basket.

As you can tell, this Dinosaur Easter Basket is super simple to put together and has an awesome effect.
