“Disclosure: I am participating in the Verizon Ambassadors SE Voices program and have been provided with a Samsung Galaxy S4 in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.”
The moment my phone arrived.
Recently I had shared that I would be participating in an ambassador program called the Verizon Ambassadors SE Voices. As part of this, I was provided a device in order to share some of the latest products and services offered through Verizon Wireless.
They gave the members of our group a list of smart phone options to choose from, and since I already had a Samsung Tablet I figured the learning curve for me would not be so bad if I went with the Samsung Galaxy S4.
I actually would be completely upgrading from a basic phone plan to a smart phone, so this truly was an adventure for me.
When the phone came, I was super excited and a little intimidated. Frankly I was afraid I was going to break the thing. However, I opened up the package and laid my eyes on a beautiful piece of equipment. I pulled it out and plugged it in. The next day, I turned it on and logged into my WI-FI to play around with it.
I couldn’t make calls or texts since I was upgrading to Data usage, but I did get G-mail, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram up and running on it immediately.
The wait for full use was over relatively fast, and through a few phone calls and a trip to the local corporate store, the friendly staff at Verizon Wireless got me set-up. Sending my first text on this phone and making my first call was such a great feeling. The screen is nice and large and it is so easy to navigate.
I think what excited me most about this change was the ability to take clear photos on the go that are ready to upload. I just got an upgrade on efficiency since there is no need to bring along my camera to every event.

With 3 kids, there are so many moments I want to capture and now I am ready. Not to mention, there are so many beautiful photo ops all around and I am loving the outdoor photos it takes.

I am still discovering all the neat features this phone has to offer, but so far I am really impressed by Pattern Lock security, Air Touch, ease of use, and quality of phone calls. Plus, I got the alarm set-up last night which is a little thing that truly makes a difference in this busy mom’s life.
The tutorial videos at Verizon for the Samsung Galaxy S4 have really come in handy for me.

Do you have a Smart Phone? What aspects of your life does it make easier? What is your favorite App?
As I discover more and more options on the Samsung Galaxy S4, I’ll be sure to share. I’m excited to start using the built-in calendar, checking out S Health, along with playing with existing apps and downloading some new ones.
