We actually saw this when it came out in movie theaters, and it was a great entertainment for my 3 and 7 year old, and at the time 9 year old. It also happened to be the last day of our Winter Break, so this was a fun way to end our vacation.

Then they find themselves in New Orleans and where they incite a dance and sing along in the streets. Eventually they make it down south and meet up with Dave and Chippettes, however they then have to correct a few of their mistakes (Mostly Alvin’s).
All my kids enjoyed the music in this film and my daughter said, “I think it is funny when the Chipmunks replaced themselves with Squirrels in their house”. I don’t want to be a spoiler, however the end result of that switch is pretty funny!
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip on Blu-ray and DVD is rated PG and runs for 92 minutes.
