Chicken Salad Wraps With Grapes and Almonds Recipe

With school now in session, I am looking for meal solutions that make packing lunches easier and more convenient.

I find this possible by preparing food in advance, purchasing packaged products, as well as using snacks that are easy to place in containers like the LunchBlox Kits by Rubbermaid. One of the simple foods I have learned to prepare in advance is Chicken Salad Wraps with Grapes and Almonds.

Ingredients for Chicken Salad Wraps With Grapes and Almonds

Chicken Salad Wraps with Grapes and Almonds Serves Around 6

Ingredients:

1 can of 12.5 oz Chunk White Chicken Breast

16 Red Grapes cut in fourths

1/2 Cup of Celery chopped

1/4 Cup of Almond Slivers

3 tbsps of Mayonnaise

Large Flour Tortillas

Rubbermaid Lunchblox

Directions:

Drain the canned chicken, and then combine all of the rest of the ingredients (Mayonnaise, Grapes, Almonds, and Celery) in a bowl and refrigerate in an airtight container. When ready to use (I used within 2 days), spread a 1/2 cup into a large flour tortilla.

Wrap this up and cut in half for 2 lunches. If you are only serving one, use a small tortilla and spread a 1/4 cup.

Then place this into the sandwich container of the LunchBlox Kit by Rubbermaid.

Side suggestions to pair with this are tortilla chips with salsa or carrots with a side of dressing, and for dessert, apples with caramel or mini chocolate chip cookies.

Lunchblox Kit with food inside

LunchBlox Kits by Rubbermaid help make packing a lunch easy and they fit neatly into most lunchboxes or bags. These 100% BPA free modular containers stay chilled with the snap-in Blue Ice®  tray and are microwave, dishwasher, and freezer safe.

What are some of your favorite dishes to serve for your child’s or children’s lunch?

Not only has this Chicken Salad made lunches easier, but the LunchBlox Kits by Rubbermaid have taken the guess work out of how to pack up the foods for my kiddos.
