My family saw Minions on Saturday and really enjoyed the film. My kiddos love STUART, KEVIN, and BOB, and are also enjoying seeing all these little guys inside and outside of products that we use!
General Mills has once again connected fans to fun movies like this, by putting a hidden Minion inside each specially marked Big G Cereal box. You will find one of six select Minions Buddies for a limited time in Honey Nut Cheerios, Banana Nut Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Reese’s Puffs, Trix and Golden Grahams. In addition, General Mills has released special packaging on participating Betty Crocker fruit flavored snacks, including Fruit Roll-Ups, Fruit by the Foot, and Gushers.
We are no stranger to Cinnamon Toast Crunch as a breakfast cereal, so I decided to also add it as a topping to some of our favorite Muffins. Since it has BA-NA-NA, I am sure the Minions would like it as well.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Banana Muffins – Makes 12
Ingredients:
Cinnamon Toast Crunch (crushed)
1 Mashed Banana
3/4 Cup of Vanilla Lowfat Yogurt
1 Cup of Sugar
2 Eggs
1 1/4 cup of White Flour
2 1/2 tsp of Baking Powder
1/2 tsp of Salt
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Using a beater, completely mix the yogurt, and sugar until completely combined. Then, add the eggs one at a time, beating well.
Mix in the rest of the ingredients, adding the banana last. Pour this into muffin cups in a pan.Then, place 1 heaping tablespoon of Cinnamon Toast Crunch on top of each muffin lightly patting it down. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until the centers are firm.
The kiddos raved about the taste of these Cinnamon Toast Crunch Banana Muffins. We will definitely be making them again!
