The makers of Rubbermaid and Sharpie partnered up to have bloggers like myself review a neat way to put a personalized touch on your Holiday baked goodies and confections.
They sent me a 15 pack of Rubbermaid Take Alongs and Sharpie’s Retractable Markers, Stainless Steel Permanent Marker, Retractable Pens, and 2 Sharpie Paint Pens.
I am not the most creative person by any means, but I can draw basic decorations, poinsettias, and can use stencils. So, I took the retractable markers and drew a poinsettia on one of the 5.2 Cup containers, then I traced ornaments with a stencil and the paint pens. Finally, I used the retractable pens to write out my recipe card to go along with the holiday treat.
These Sharpie markers are great to use for any kind of occasion, but are also nice for labeling day to day things. I used one of the retractables to label a snack container for my son.
The Rubbermaidcontainers themselves without any decoration would be a great gift . All you need to do is add a bow. They are also wonderful for day to day usage, and are sealed tightly. I can verify this, because I actually used one of them to keep diced tomatoes in, and the container dropped out of the frig and there was no mess.
