A special thank you goes out to Experience Kissimmee and Green Meadows Farm for providing us with accommodations as part of the #GoodbyeCrowds #MyKissimmee Event. Opinions expressed are that of my own.
While visiting the Orlando area, Little Miss and I took a tour at Green Meadows Farm in Kissimmee, Florida.
Now I have been to a Petting Zoo at a fair and even one at a local farm, but I have never been to a Petting Farm and gotten this hands on with so many animals.
During our visit, we got to pet lambs and goats, feed pigs, hold baby chicks and even catch a grown chicken.
There were donkeys, llamas, and ostriches on site as well (the ostriches were not open to petting) and plenty of photo opportunities.
There is also a play fire truck, tractors, and Green Meadows Farm carnival cutouts to grab a great candid shot.
If you have younger children, they even have an air conditioned indoor play area.
We got to take a trip on a hayride and although we missed it, there is also a train ride as part of the tour.
I was really impressed by this and how long it all lasted.
Little Miss was excited to touch bunnies and Guinea pigs and she even was brave enough to hold a Leopard Gecko.
FYI, there are facilities on site as well as hand sanitizer stations throughout.
Of course the shinning moment at Green Meadows Farm was milking a cow and riding a pony.
You can tell by her expression that she was completely thrilled.
Have you ever visited this type of farm before? What did you think was the most interesting part of our tour?
