After church the other day, my daughter handed me this cute little baby chick toy that looked like it was made out of craft poms.
Of course as soon as I saw it, a light bulb immediately went off in my head and it inspired a Poms Baby Bird Craft!
Now this creation could not be possible without a fun group of crafting items sent to my family from the Horizon Group USA at craftprojectideas.com to create an activity for my children.
The following is a sponsored post and opinions expressed are that of my own.
In my box I had items like craft sticks, pipe cleaners AKA fuzzy sticks, as well as googly eyes and paints.
Between the supplies I already had on hand as well as these awesome products, I was able to assemble these Poms Baby Birds!
FYI, these little baby birds would make an excellent addition to an Easter Basket since they fit nicely in plastic eggs, or simply a way to decorate for Spring.
Details on how to recreate them are below!
Here is the How To Make A Poms Baby Bird Craft:
Medium and Large Colorful Craft Poms
Small googly eyes
Glue
Orange Fuzzy Sticks (AKA Pipe Cleaners)
Orange Foam
Safety Scissors
Directions:
To create the body of your Baby Bird, first glue the smaller Pom to the Top of the larger one.
Next, cut a small triangle out of the orange foam for the beak.
Then glue on the small googly eyes and foam beak. Next cut the pipe cleaner in half and then cut that piece into another half.
You will have 2 fourths to work with. Fold these into a shape of a “W” and then press the center section together to form the bird’s feet.
To finish, glue the feet to bottom of the Pom bird and allow to dry completely.
They are then ready to hang out in your home and make it colorful for Spring.
