We already started to get on the right track by snacking on Breaded Green Beans with Caesar Dip!
If you would like to recreate the recipe, the details are below.
Breaded Green Beans with Caesar Dip Recipe
Estimated to Serve 4-6
1 Bag of Eat Smart Green Beans (Steam In The Bag)
1 Cup of Italian Bread Crumbs
1/4 Cup of Grated Parmesan Cheese
2 Eggs
1/4 Cup of Milk
Marie’s Caesar Dressing and Dip
Directions:
First Preheat the oven to 425 degrees and then combine the bread crumbs and Parmesan in a bowl. Next create an egg wash by beating the 2 eggs and milk in a bowl until completely combined.
You will then need a nonstick cookie sheet to start preparing your breaded green beans.
First cover the Eat Smart Green Beans in the egg wash and then move to the bread crumbs and completely cover. I suggest doing 4 to 6 at a time shaking off excess crumbs as you transport to the cookie sheet.
If you notice any clumps of egg and bread crumbs, promptly remove from the bowl.
Finally place these in the oven for 20 minutes, turning half way through. Tip: These will be done when the egg wash is firm, the breading is browned, and the beans begin to wrinkle.
Once finished, allow them to cool and transfer these to a plate with Marie’s Caesar Dressing and Dip.
FYI, these Green Beans and Caesar were delicious fresh out of the oven, but make an excellent addition to your child’s lunch box. They were just as tasty the next day as left overs.
