I have to admit that I am proud of myself this holiday season because I have already put together my kiddos teacher’s gifts.
Realistically I am assembling them the night before or having to run out to get something last minute. However this time around, I am finished and prepared with Christmas Coffee Mug Gifts!
Now before these presents were even going to come together, I would first need to take a trip up to my nearest Dollar General.
They have an affordable variety of Christmas related items such as wrapping and decorations, entertaining pieces like cups and plates, as well as festive foods and candy.
While shopping I proceeded to pick up Coffee Mugs, Mini Bell Decorations, Cellophane Wrap, Candy Canes, and boxes of 7 Pack Instant Coffee.
At the check out counter I found 3 varieties of gum including Extra® Polar Ice, Extra® Spearmint, and Wrigley’s Doublemint® and grabbed enough to add 2 packages of gum to each gift. FYI, these would also make excellent stocking stuffers.
The kiddos and I then put these easy Christmas Coffee Mug Gifts together and they turned out great. If you would like to recreate them, details are below (per gift set):
1 Christmas Mug
2 Packs of Gum
2 Candy Canes
1 – 7 Pack of Instant Coffee
1 Christmas Decoration
Cellophane Wrap
To get started, I first opened the instant coffee box and placed the packets in the cups. We then added 2 candy canes to give them a festive look.
Next we placed 2 packs of gum at the top and took turns alternating the Extra® Polar Ice, Extra® Spearmint, and Wrigley’s Doublemint®.
In order to complete the gift, I cut the cellophane wrap, covered the contents, and closed the present. I chose the bells because they had a gold twist tie attaching them to their packaging and this made them simple to place on top.
Tip: If you pick a different ornament, use a thin white ribbon or clear tape to tie off the top of the cellophane.
Do you create presents for your child’s (children’s) Teacher? Have you ever made Christmas Coffee Mug Gifts?
While shopping, be sure to pick up Extra® and Doublemint® gum this holiday season at your local Dollar General!
It definitely feels awesome to be prepared this year, and I hope this idea makes Teachers Gifts easier for you as well.
