Galaxy Cupcakes and Big G Cereals With Star Wars Product Giveaway! #CerealWars

disclosure-for-site

June 15, 2015 Carlee at Fun Learning Life 31 Comments

I was provided free product to facilitate this post about Galaxy Cupcakes. Opinions expressed are that of my own.

Galaxy Cupcakes out of this world

My kids and I are getting ready for the newest installment of Star Wars by enjoying Big G Cereals and snacking on Galaxy Cupcakes.

General Mills and Star Wars are teaming up to offer exclusive vintage movie posters in every specially marked box of General Mills cereals! Hidden inside each box, you will find one of six timeless movie posters featuring your favorite Star Wars films.

General Mills Ceral and a Star Wars Poster

Star Wars and cereal fans alike can collect all six classic posters in each participating brand of General Mills cereals, including Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Honey Nut Cheerios, Trix, Cookie Crisp and Reese’s Puffs.

The specially marked boxes of Big G cereals are available for a limited time only.

Trix Cupcakes

Want to make your own Galaxy Cupcakes? It is really easy.

Simply prepare your favorite white cake mix and cook the cupcakes in silver holders. Once cooled, top with fluffy white frosting, sprinkle glimmer silver cake gems (the stars), and top with Trix (the planets).

Galaxy Cupcakes inspired by Star Wars

This combination makes delicious cupcakes that are OUT OF THIS WORLD. These would also be perfect for an Outer Space or Star Wars Birthday, plus they would be an awesome addition to a Star Wars viewing party!

For more information about the General Mills Star Wars partnership with fan fun, check out the #CerealWars Tumblr page.

What a brilliant idea, my nine year old would love this as she just finished a space unit at the end of the school year. Not to mention these are the yummiest cereals! Great job!

My husband loves the original ones, and I agree - think they are even better than the new ones. Cereal on cupcakes, that is brilliant!! Pinning this to try one day! :)

I've never considered myself to be good at making "pretty" desserts. I love that these make the cupcakes bright and nice looking without having to do fancy icing.
