Looking to do something fun with preschoolers and elementary aged children on St. Patrick’s Day?
The Lucky Scavenger Hunt will not only get your children up and moving, but will also have them using problem solving and numerical skills.
Here is what is needed to recreate this St. Patrick’s Day Craft activity:
– 2 to 4 pieces of green construction paper
– Scissors
– Pencil
– Ruler
– Marker
– A prize (I found these gold coin chocolates at Walgreens for around a $1.00 each)
To get started, first cut out a total of 10 – 4 Leaf Clovers from green construction paper.
I made one and then used it as a template to make the others.
Next, write the numbers 1-10 on the clovers.
Finally hide the clovers throughout your home.
After this, send your child/ children out on a hunt. Once they find all the clovers, have them place them in numerical order.
You or siblings can then take turns hiding them over and over again.
This activity is A LOT of fun and when you are finished playing, the kids get a prize.
My kids really appreciated their YUMMY reward!
