I was provided a complimentary pass along with hotel accommodations to cover the Moms Meet WOW Summit.
Since July of this year I have shared that I would be attending the Moms Meet WOW Summit in Orlando, Florida.
Well the weekend came, and Moms/Mom Bloggers (including myself), attended an AWESOME event that showcased a variety of speakers, break-out sessions, and sponsors in an exhibit hall.
Upon arrival at the Caribe Royal Resort and Hotel, I checked in and picked up a Swag Bag filled with all sorts of YUMMY and fun Goodies.
Once I relaxed for a bit and snacked on cookies from Mrs. Thinster’s, I headed down to the pool area for a Cocktail Party sponsored by Zevia to mingle with other attendees.
I saw one of my Blogging Buddies Jennifer from My Boys & Their Toys and met in real-time with individuals I had been Tweeting with before the event. Our group also did a fun “Getting To Know You” game with plenty of laughs.
There was an amazing spread of foods including fajitas with beef and chicken and sweets with a chocolate dipping sauce.
The next day, we began with MCs Annie Douglass Chief Mom Ambassador and Amanda Boyarshinov of theeducatorsspinonit.com. Our greeting also included a few words from the founder of the event Maxine Wolf, CEO of the May Media Group.
This immediately lead into our keynote speaker for the morning Robyn O’ Brien, and additional speakers Traci Paige Johnson AKA Creator of Blues Clues, and then Dr. Susan Bartell.
After this, it was time to check out the Exhibitors Hall. There were representatives from FluNada, Canyon Bakehouse, National Geographic Kids, Applegate Farms, and so much more.
I was definitely loading up on the goodies and sampling delicious treats. Exhibitor time was then followed by 2 additional speakers Suzy Stauffer of Beyond the Bus Stop, and Heather White of ewg.org.
The next part of the day included the break out sessions. I attended 3 that included topics like “Finding Personal Balance”, creating “Smarter Celebrations”, and “GMO OMG”.
All of these were definitely topics that I was interested in learning more information about.
We then had a little downtime, and that evening was a comedy hour sponsored by Sweet Leaf. Myself and 2 other bloggers, Pam from Simply Southern Mom and Tammy from Three Different Directions decided to venture that night out to grab a bite to eat at Downtown Disney.
We had a couple of comedy hours chatting about our lives in general and being moms.
The following and final day began with speaker Aviva Goldfarb of thescramble.com, who created some simple but healthy recipes for us to try out at home with our own familes.
This went immediately into Breakout Sessions and this time I attended “Where Nature Meets Nurture: Integrating the Outdoors into Your Child’s Toy Box”, “The Importance of Music for Your Child”, and “For Bloggers: Build Your Blog with Social Media”.
Of course a highlight from this day was when I finally made contact with one of the organizations I had been searching for at the event, Produce for Kids! It was great to finally meet everyone in person.
As the Summit was concluding with closing remarks, they drew items for a silent auction, and then we were given a HUGE goody bag to take home. Before I headed out though, myself and other bloggers attended a special breakout lunch with certain Sponsors of the event. We had a fabulous meal, along with an informative discussion with the brands.
Have you ever attended a Moms Meet WOW Summit event before? What would you most be excited check out?
Attending the Moms Meet #WowSummit was such a great experience and as you can tell by the photo above, I went home with a bunch of items to try out. The kiddos have already been enjoying the treats and trying out the vitamins from U-Cubes from Solgar!
