The following is a sponsored post on behalf of Paramount Pictures Transformers: AGE OF EXTINCTION. Opinions expressed are that of my own.
If you are looking for a date night movie or wanting to add a little more action to your life, TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION is hitting movie theaters this Friday June 27th, 2014!
I am super excited to see this 4th installment of the films, since I grew up in a time when the original Transformer toys and cartoon show came out. Hubby and I are both a little nostalgic when it comes to the franchise and I think it is pretty neat that my oldest son actually plays with the same toys my husband had when he was a little boy. We even found a few with the cool color changing symbols.
Since we were getting sentimental about our past toys, I asked hubby who his favorite character was. He responded with Optimus Prime. I admitted that I am a little partial to Bumblebee.
Of course we have cartoon DVD’s for the kids now, and have added new Transformer toys. They are all still just as fun to play with!
Wanting to know more about TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION?
Based on the previews, it is set in a time where Transformers have pretty much been hunted down by humans regardless of whether they are an Autobot or a Decepticon. Apparently there was a huge battle that saved the world but made quite a mess.
Many people now think that Transformers are bad news. However, without the protection of Optimus Prime (voiced by Peter Cullen) and the Autobots, the planet is left vulnerable to a new threat.
Of course the way to fighting this Epic Battle of Good Vs Evil is always through the cooperation of Humans and Autobots. This is where Mark Wahlberg, along with some additional new cast members (T. J. Miller, Nicola Peltz and Jack Reynor) step in to save the day. You will also see veteran actors like Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, and Titus Welliver star in the film.

TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION is a movie that was definitely made for adults, and perfect for a date night out. Just like the previous movies it is rated PG-13 due to some intense sequences of sci-fi violence and action and language and brief innuendo.
Will you be going to see the film on date night? Who are you looking forward to seeing in action?

I took a look at a couple more previews and WOW talk about some exciting sequences. I am not surprised though, it is a directed by Michael Bay, not to mention Mark Wahlberg is in this movie, need I say more? It looks so good and I can’t wait to see it in theaters!
