Are you looking to make better food choices this year? Thinking of adding in more salad or replacing a meal with more greens? Fresh Express is making this easier through their 30 Day Salad Swap program!
Fresh Express makes salad preparation simple by creating a wide variety of products, including refreshing mixes, ready-to-eat Kits, and a special USDA-Certified Organic line.
Their products are thoroughly washed, rinsed, and gently dried and sealed in patented “Keep-Crisp®” breathable bags for freshness without preservatives. These mixes can vary in price, but typically cost between $2-$4 per bag.
To get started on your very own Salad Swap with Fresh Express, visit saladswap.com. There you will find meal alternatives along with recipe ideas to make dinner planning easier, as well as a meal and exercise tracker to calculate calories.
There is also a reward program with coupon savings. For every 2 bag codes you enter (up to 14 bags in 30 days), you’ll receive a money saving coupon. Enter a total of 15 bag codes within 30 days of signing up, and get $50 in coupons to use all year.
To make the swap even easier, there is also a FREE App available at Google Play and the Apple App Store . The Salad Swap App gives you the ability to browse recipe ideas on the go and input product codes at your convenience.
In addition, the app will pull recipe ingredients instantly, which is perfect when you creating a meal or shopping at the grocery store.
I decided to create my very own Salad Swap idea and set up a topping bar with items that would typically be found on a Pizza.
I mixed in Fresh Express Spinach into a Caesar Salad Kit (I love Spinach on my Pizza) and then let family and friends pick out their own “Pizza Toppings”. These items included tomatoes, mini pepperonis, ham, pineapple, bacon, and more.
I decided to make myself a Pineapple and Ham Pizza Salad topped with shredded mozzarella cheese and croutons. As you can see, it looks delicious.
I may not be able to go 30 days straight with swapping in salads, but I am definitely inspired to try new dishes and look forward to trying alternatives to our usual dinners.
Have you tried a Salad Swap yet? What dish are you thinking about swapping in as a salad?
Remember to visit saladswap.com to get started on your own 30 Day Swap, and to download the FREE App! I signed up, and have already earned a $1.00 off coupon for entering bag codes.
