I was provided a sample for review. Opinions expressed in this post are that of my own.
I was sent a container of Glo Blue Glow In The Dark Gak to review with my son, and it has now given him another way to enjoy playtime with Gak.
I have reviewed Gak from Nickelodeon in the past and as you may recall, it is a stretchy and squishy material that can be pulled into all kinds of directions. It can have bubbles blown into it, and creates popping and weird noises when folded over and smashed. Each package of Gak comes with a resealable air-tight container to keep it fresh and reusable.
Before my son started playing with the Gak, I placed it outside in its packaging to get sun light. We then opened up the container in the closet so he could play with it. He thought it was cool. However since only one side gets the light, as he mixed it around it lost the “glow in the dark” relatively fast. On the flip side, it does charge up quick, I just put it back under a light for about 5 -10 minutes to reactivate it again. I would encourage my son to not only play with it in the dark, but to keep playing with it in the light as well.
Glow In The Dark Gak comes in 3 additional colors including Glo Green, Glo White, and Glo Orange. You can find these products online and at your local Toys R Us. For more information on Gak visit gakisback.ca.
Do your children play with Gak? If so, what is their favorite color or colors?
