The following is a recap of a sponsored event from MommyParties, and Cadbury Ice Cream Bars. Opinions expressed are that of my own.
Thanks to MommyParties, and Cadbury Ice Cream Bars I was sent free boxes of Cadbury Ice Cream Bars made with Blue Bunny Ice Cream to host a Cadbury ‘High Tea’ Mother Daughter Event with my friends and their little girls.
In addition, I was sent a child’s tea set, party hats, and facinators to help set the scene, and get us into the spirit of the day.
My daughter and I have tea parties all the time, but we had never hosted one with a bunch of friends. We were excited to use all of these items, and I was ecstatic to finally have an excuse to break out my wedding china.
The menu for the day included, Bacon Chicken Salad Sandwiches, a Cucumber Triscuit Appetizer, Summer Vacation Trail Mix with pretzels, fruit salad, and sweet tea.
For dessert, I created an Ice Cream Trifle for the adults with Cadbury English Toffee Ice Cream Bars. Check out the details here–> 7 Layer Pretzel and Toffee Ice Cream Dessert!
The girls dessert included the Cadbury Royal Dark Ice Cream Bars and the Cadbury Vanilla Chocolate Ice Cream Bars. Later I tried the Caramello version, it was YUMMY!
We had much fun, and my daughter and I really enjoyed dressing up. This was truly a memory we will always cherish.
Not to mention, this was such a nice event because the kids played and the moms were able to visit and chat. We got to eat lots of yummy food and try out new delicious desserts from Cadbury and Blue Bunny Ice Cream.
Do you play tea party with your little girl? If so, what items do you include in your event, and on your menu?
I can’t wait till we host our next tea party event!
