Thanks to Smiley 360 and BIC, I was sent a BIC Mark-It Permanent Markers Decorating Kit to decorate a foam pumpkin for this Halloween. Included in the kit was a BIC Mark-It 36 Pack of Permanent Markers, stickers, mini jewels, glitter glue, and a foam pumpkin.
Since I have more than one child, 1 pumpkin was not going to be enough, so I went to Michaels and got 2 additional foam pumpkins on sale for 50% off. These pumpkins were white, but I figured that would be O.K. since the decorations would show up better.
As I supervised the project, The kids and I discussed what we would create in advance, but their creativity flowed and they put a little bit of everything on their pumpkins. They had fun.
The BIC Mark-It Permanent Markers worked out great for this project, and my son used them to make Jack o’ lantern faces. He then filled in his designs with glitter glue. My daughter just put a little bit of everything everywhere.
I used the markers to make a 4 headed pumpkin including a little boy, a princess, cat, and Jack o’ lantern. I’m not an artist, but I figured I did O.K.
So here is our final product!
