Have you ever heard of the company Graeter’s before? Well I was sent 6 containers of their French Pot Ice Cream to try out, and it was delicious!
Graeter’s was established in 1870 by The Graeter Family and has been ran by 5 generations ever since. Their specialties are French Pot Ice Cream, handmade chocolate confections, and fresh baked goods. If you are lucky enough to live in Ohio, Indiana or Kentucky, you might even be able to find a full service Graeter’s location near you.
Currently, Graeter’s Ice Cream is the only product available Nationwide and can also be shipped anywhere in the US. It can be found at Kroger’s , Fresh Market, and other stores. Click Here for locations that carry Graeter’s Ice Cream nationwide.
So you may ask, what is French Pot Ice Cream?
French Pot Ice Cream is when fresh cream and egg custard is gently swirled along the chilled sides of a slowly spinning French Pot Freezer. This process prevents air from being whipped into the ice cream and creates a heavier and denser ice cream. For more information on this process, visit their website graeters.com/process
As you can tell, my son had fun taste testing.
My entire family got to try out 6 Flavors including Vanilla, Mocha, Mint Chocolate Chip, Butter Pecan, Black Raspberry, and Strawberry. I think the kids preferred the Strawberry, and I really liked the Mint Chocolate Chip. I think my hubby would have eaten any of the flavors. I just love the expression on my daughter’s face.
