My 2 year old is potty training and every day we have our ups and we have our downs.
We have done the Potty Dance and she loved dancing and we had a great time with it, but honestly I am just ready to stop spending money on diapers!
Yesterday I actually went out with her wearing underwear and she did not wet at all. I just told her that all the diapers were gone.
Well, today she refused to use big potty, wet her pants a couple times, so I tried the “no bottoms on” approach and put a potty chair on the tile floor in the kid’s playroom.
She went on the floor, she went in the potty twice, but as soon as I put pants back on she went in her pants.
So needless to say, I still have a ways to go with her potty training.
I mentioned her potty training tonight on Facebook, and I got a ton of feedback from other moms and thought it would be nice to post some of those ideas here on the blog for other moms to have.
I’m not saying that every idea works, but every child is different and maybe you will find a great idea to use for your little one.
If you would like to share your potty training ideas with other readers, feel free to comment on this post, or email me at athomemoma2@gmail.com and I’ll add it.
