If you live in the Tampa Area or are planning a visit to the Tampa Area, I would definitely recommend taking a detour and heading over to the Palma Sola Botanical Gardens and Robinson’s Preserve, both located in the North West Area of Bradenton Florida. Both have free admission.
View of the Palms at Palma Sola Botanical Gardens
We had our daughter’s birthday at the Botanical Gardens, and everyone loved the scenery. The grounds are well kept and the plants are gorgeous. The complex has a playground with benches, and a Pavilion that is available to rent for events through the Manatee County Park Services. Palma Sola Park Details

Views at Robinson Preserve
Next door to the Palma Sola Botanical Gardens is Robinson’s Preserve. Talk about beautiful Florida views. This preserve is situated on 487 acres. It has an observation tower that overlooks the bay, along with numerous paths, picnic areas, and wildlife observation areas. Kayaking is available for a fee, and it lifts off on the other side of the Preserve on what is called the causeway on Manatee Ave.

In addition they just opened up a new education center, which is located in a Historical Home called the Valentine House. For info on Robinson’s Preserve, Click here: Robinson’s Preserve

Hope you have an opportunity to visit these places and enjoy them as much as my family has.
